Senior Product Manager, Commerce Platform

xAI is building a full super-intelligence stack spanning Colossus supercomputers, Grok models, and applications including Grok Bot, Grok Build, Grok Imagine, Grok Voice, and X.

What you will do

• Own the commerce platform billing roadmap across Grok, X, Grok Bot, and Cursor.
• Define requirements and drive delivery for checkout, paywalls, upsell flows, and promotional offers.
• Lead large-scale billing issue triage, prioritize fixes, coordinate with engineering, and follow up with support and finance.
• Unify subscription systems across applications and integrate SpaceXAI payments with the Starlink payment network.
• Manage product requirements across Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe, and other payment rails.
• Define billing health and revenue metrics, contribute code through prototypes, tooling, data analysis, and small fixes, and partner with legal, tax, and compliance teams on market-specific requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience on large-scale consumer applications.

Nice to have

• Deep product management experience building large-scale, high-stakes monetization, subscription, fintech, billing, payment, or transactional systems.
• Technical depth to read and write production code and participate in architecture discussions with engineers.
• Experience shipping and operating complex backend-heavy consumer products at scale.
• Experience with Apple App Store and Google Play in-app billing and Stripe.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and prior experience as a software engineer.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, global payments infrastructure, or A/B testing frameworks.
• Interest in revenue-generating products and exceptional user experiences.
