Software Engineering – Finance Core Platform (Java/Kotlin)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust software for the Finance Core Platform.
• Build resilient, secure, and performant microservices supporting financial transactions, partner reconciliations, billing operations, and global bookings.
• Design systems capable of handling millions of requests per day while ensuring reliability, scalability, and transactional accuracy.
• Collaborate with architects on technical solutions, system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines for new financial features.
• Own delivery quality, system performance, reliability, and scalability across the platform.
• Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders, solve complex financial-domain problems, share knowledge, pair program, and mentor peers.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on Software Engineering experience with object-oriented or functional programming languages, especially Java or Kotlin in the JVM ecosystem.
• Solid experience with Clean Code, SOLID principles, TDD, DDD, and an Agile mindset.
• Proven experience with the Spring or Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions and translate complex business and financial requirements into technical solutions.
• Growth mindset, positive and collaborative attitude, and full fluency in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience in product-centric technology companies or fast-paced startup environments.
• Hands-on experience with Extreme Programming practices.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Services.
• Expertise in building and maintaining microservices and containerized environments using Kubernetes.
• Experience with asynchronous messaging architectures and queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
