Software Engineer PL/SQL - Cash Operations & Payments

What you will do

• Provide application maintenance, bug fixing, and small enhancements for cash operations and payments services used by SaaS clients.
• Collaborate with the Team Lead, Business Analysts, Software Engineers, technical leads, architects, and Back-Office colleagues.
• Write solution designs for new developments and participate in client workshops and requirements analysis.
• Design, develop, maintain, improve, and optimize application functionality.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and support quality assurance.
• Work with agile processes and ticketing platforms, including Jira, while taking ownership of the assigned area.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of proven relevant software development experience.
• Good knowledge and sound understanding of database technologies, including SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Ability and motivation to understand business needs and produce clean designs and high-quality code.
• Strong conceptual and analytical thinking, with a structured and autonomous approach to complex technical and business problems.

Nice to have

• Experience in the financial industry and/or with cash operations and payments.
• University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of payment standards including SIC, euroSIC, SEPA, and SWIFT MT or MX (ISO 20022).
