Powertrain & Emissions Homologation Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Tarragona, Spain; highly flexible hybrid work model

What you will do

• Manage vehicle certification activities related to powertrain requirements, including exhaust emissions, fuel consumption, and engine power.
• Witness official approval tests at manufacturers’ laboratories according to IDIADA procedures.
• Prepare approval dossiers and manage delivery of official approval certificates issued by Spain’s Approval Authorities.
• Report to the Technical Leader of the Homologation team.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of emission regulations for passenger cars and vehicle approval in general.
• At least 1 year of experience in powertrain development and/or testing.
• Excellent planning and collaboration skills.
• Degree in mechanical engineering or a similar field.
• Good level of English.
