Operations Coordinator

Location: Geismar, Louisiana, United States; onsite in corporate office and field/plant environments. Travel to other field or corporate locations may be required up to 50% or more. The role includes outdoor work in all climatic conditions and climbing stairs, cranes, conveyor systems, and tanks up to 95 feet.

What you will do

• Manage and coordinate SQE implementation, RMP, MOC, HAZOP, Responsible Care, OPSINFO, document library, emergency response, and related operational management processes.
• Use SAP for inventory tracking, production and shipping schedules, FIFO verification, and goods issued/goods received functions.
• Review incidents, conduct SCAT analyses, prepare investigation reports, identify immediate and root causes, and track corrective actions.
• Coordinate internal, customer, industry, and regulatory compliance audits, including documentation, findings, reporting, and remediation.
• Establish, implement, update, and audit operational procedures, job hazard analyses, PPE requirements, equipment checklists, and other management systems.
• Coordinate emergency response drills, monitor OPSINFO items, and work with office and field staff to maintain compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of experience.
• Experience with management processes such as MOC, HAZOP, incident investigation, environmental and safety compliance, RMP, industry compliance audits, Responsible Care assessments, and related industry processes.
• Previous experience with SAP.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC credential issued by TSA.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational, planning, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact with employees at all levels in office and field settings, conduct interactive meetings, manage multiple priorities, develop and revise procedures and standards, work with limited direction, and maintain professional relationships.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness and ability to carry a cell phone and respond as needed, comply with the PHMSA drug testing program, sit for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors, and climb equipment up to 95 feet.

• Experience in a chemical and/or petroleum industrial or marine terminal environment.
