Program Manager, Liaison

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States; full-time onsite role.

Salary: $78,000–$139,360 per year.

What you will do

• Research, review, fact-check, edit, and substantiate clinical, scientific, programmatic, historical, and institutional content for general and donor audiences.
• Synthesize complex scientific, clinical, financial, operational, and programmatic information into donor-focused materials, summaries, analyses, and briefs.
• Provide bilingual review, translation, and content support for English and Spanish materials when needed.
• Collaborate with faculty, subject matter experts, executive leaders, and internal and external stakeholders to validate information and develop recommendations.
• Lead program planning, execution, governance, reporting, budget oversight, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
• Maintain institutional facts and statistics, develop procedures and guidelines, coordinate content reviews, support presentations, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 4 years of experience in program management and delivery.
• Experience designing and managing programs focused on customer needs, including defining objectives, scope, milestones, governance, resources, and deliverables.
• Experience tracking program budgets, expenditures, reporting, risks, contracts, grants, and variances.
• Proven experience engaging senior leaders to facilitate decision-making.
• Experience providing guidance, mentorship, feedback, and career support within a program management team.
• Experience driving continuous program improvement projects.
• Strong critical thinking, research, fact-checking, content-editing, writing, grammar, proofreading, data analysis, and synthesis skills.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences, collaborate cross-functionally, manage vendors, anticipate roadblocks, and solve complex problems independently.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing needs, meet accelerated deadlines, and use project management, data management, budget, and communication tools.

Nice to have

• Fluency in both English and Spanish, including strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Scientific background or subject matter expertise.
• Experience working at St. Jude or another large, similar institution.
• Experience with MS Project, Microsoft SharePoint, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, or MS Office.
