Project Controls Manager (Rail/Transit)

Location: Washington, DC, United States; onsite at 1053 31st Street Northwest

Base compensation: $153,600–$230,400 annually

What you will do

• Manage project control activities and resources throughout all capital project lifecycle phases for client projects.
• Oversee cost estimating, budgeting, cost control, scheduling, configuration management, management information systems, and reporting for rail or transit projects and programs.
• Establish, maintain, implement, and audit cost and schedule management activities to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and plans.
• Review project budgets, schedules, costs, scope, time, and financial performance, including actual project performance.
• Plan logistics, delivery, and workforce requirements with project personnel and incorporate them into CPM schedules using Primavera P6.
• Review contractor baseline, update, and recovery schedules; track work progress and coordinate with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of project controls experience, including 5+ years of project controls management experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Client-focused approach and commitment to delivering effective solutions.
• Demonstrated collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team working toward technical excellence.

Nice to have

• Understanding of scheduling processes.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6.
• PMI, PSP, or CCP certification.
