Sr Developer, Boomi Integration

Location: Remote within the United States; company location: North Olmsted, Ohio, United States.

Base salary: $80,000–$126,500 USD per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus plan or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Oversee integration projects and design scalable architectures while contributing to hands-on coding and development.
• Gather, define, and document integration requirements with business and IT stakeholders.
• Translate business and end-user requirements into feasible technical specifications.
• Lead integration development and coordinate onshore and offshore teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support integration solutions across their lifecycle.
• Establish integration standards, governance, reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement while participating in Scrum ceremonies and validating deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of integration development experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Dell Boomi experience.
• 3+ years of API management, 2+ years of ETL development, and 1+ year of EDI development.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, NoSQL databases, or similar technologies.
• Proficiency with JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and OData API and web service formats and protocols.
• Hands-on experience with integration, API, and EDI platforms, particularly Dell Boomi.
• Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and Groovy.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
• Strong understanding of integration security practices, including OAuth, SSL/TLS, and data encryption.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Boomi AI capabilities.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications including SAP ECC, Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, Shopify, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Service CRM, Oracle EPM, Salsify, Widen, HubSpot, Blue Yonder WMS, Bloomreach, Sage CRM, and Stripe.
• Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with X12 and EDIFACT EDI formats.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development practices.
• Dell Boomi Integration Platform certification(s).
