Oracle Cloud Integration Engineer

What you will do

• Design and develop Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) flows connecting Oracle Cloud Applications, on-premises Oracle systems, and third-party platforms.
• Build scheduled and app-driven orchestrations with complex mappings, error handling, recovery, retries, and resubmission workflows.
• Configure OIC adapters for REST, SOAP, FTP, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, and custom integrations.
• Develop Process Cloud Service workflows and Visual Builder Cloud Service applications integrated with OIC and Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Implement API management strategies covering security policies, throttling, and developer portals, while optimizing high-volume integrations through batching, parallelism, and asynchronous patterns.
• Migrate legacy Oracle SOA Suite or third-party integrations to OIC, provide post-go-live support and root-cause analysis, maintain technical documentation, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of integration experience with strong hands-on Oracle Integration Cloud experience; the position listing indicates 6+ years of experience.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Applications ERP, HCM, or CX data models and APIs.
• Experience developing REST and SOAP web services, with working knowledge of Visual Builder Cloud Service and Process Cloud Service.
• Strong scripting skills in Groovy and JavaScript, SQL experience, and familiarity with OAuth2, SAML, and mTLS security standards.

Nice to have

• Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration certification.
• Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database integration and event-driven integration on OCI.
• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD patterns for OIC content.
• Experience with MuleSoft, Boomi, or SAP CPI.
• Experience migrating Oracle SOA Suite integrations to OIC.
