Sr. Integration Developer (Boomi)

Location: Hybrid in El Paso, Plano, or Arlington, United States; in-office collaboration is expected Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work available Monday and Friday depending on business needs and manager expectations.

What you will do

• Design reliable enterprise integration solutions using synchronous, asynchronous, publish/subscribe, batch, and file-based patterns.
• Build and enhance Boomi integrations and develop Oracle Integration Cloud integrations across cloud and on-premises systems.
• Implement REST APIs, secure connectivity, authentication, authorization, certificates, secrets, and SFTP transfers.
• Connect Oracle E-Business Suite, SaaS applications, databases, third-party logistics providers, and partner systems while maintaining data accuracy.
• Validate releases through regression, reconciliation, and end-to-end testing; improve performance, reuse, and maintainability.
• Provide production support, resolve root causes, build operational resilience, lead technical delivery, and mentor developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of enterprise integration, middleware, or interface development experience, including ownership of complex integrations through production support.
• 3+ years of hands-on Boomi development and support experience with processes, maps, profiles, connectors, runtime environments, and deployment practices.
• 3+ years of hands-on Oracle Integration Cloud development and support experience with adapters, connections, orchestration, mappings, and fault handling.
• Strong knowledge of integration frameworks and enterprise integration patterns, including processing, routing, transformation, orchestration, and reusable services.
• Experience with Pub/Sub and event-driven messaging, including delivery failures, retries, duplicate handling, and message correlation.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs with JSON/XML payloads, authentication, authorization, pagination, and error handling; familiarity with SOAP services.
• Experience with file-based integrations and secure transfers using SFTP or equivalent protocols, including credential and certificate management.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills; experience with Groovy or JavaScript and XML, XSLT, and JSON transformations.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, source control, testing, release and change management, technical documentation, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently, mentor peers, and collaborate with business analysts, developers, and external partners.

Nice to have

• Oracle E-Business Suite R12 integration experience, including APIs, interface tables, concurrent programs, and SQL/PLSQL troubleshooting.
• Workato experience with recipes, connectors, and production support.
• EDI integration experience such as X12 or EDIFACT, including document mapping, acknowledgments, and trading partner connectivity.
• Boomi Professional Developer certification or relevant Oracle Integration certification.
• Experience with Boomi event and API capabilities or other enterprise messaging and API management platforms.
• Experience supporting consumer goods, retail, supply chain, distribution, or manufacturing processes and external application integrations.
