Boomi Middleware Engineer (Boomi)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, monitor, and support enterprise integrations using Boomi AtomSphere.
• Own the full integration lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design through production operations.
• Develop integrations using Boomi processes, connectors, and Atom/Molecule runtimes.
• Implement API management and secure integrations using OAuth2, mTLS, and certificate-based security.
• Integrate SAP, Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, and similar SaaS platforms.
• Collaborate with application teams, enterprise architects, integration partners, and business stakeholders while contributing to code reviews, design reviews, and mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of integration experience, with a strong focus on Dell Boomi AtomSphere; the position lists six or more years of overall experience.
• Hands-on experience with Boomi processes, connectors, Atom/Molecule runtimes, API Management, and CI/CD tooling.
• Solid scripting skills in Groovy and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of event-driven integration patterns and API security standards including OAuth2, mTLS, and certificate-based authentication.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Boomi Professional or Architect certification.
• Exposure to Boomi Flow, Boomi DataHub, multi-tenant integration patterns, MuleSoft, OIC, or SAP CPI.
• Working knowledge of FinOps and integration cost management.
