Data Architect Senior (Asset Management Group)

Location: In-office role based in Pittsburgh, PA, or Cleveland, OH; Strongsville Technology Center, OH is also listed as another location.

Base salary: $112,000–$228,800 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Define and maintain target-state architecture for asset management analytical and operational data platforms.
• Lead the evolution of legacy Hadoop-based environments toward modern lakehouse and open-data architectures.
• Define migration strategies and guide the implementation and integration of complex data warehouses and ETL architectures.
• Establish data management practices, storage architectures, metadata strategies, governance models, and platform operating models.
• Provide architectural leadership for analytics, operational intelligence, AI/ML, digital applications, and enterprise integration initiatives.
• Conduct architecture reviews, advise delivery teams, collaborate with enterprise architecture and business stakeholders, and mentor engineers and solution architects.

Requirements

• Typically 8+ years of industry-relevant experience in data architecture or related work.
• Bachelor's degree; a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered instead.
• Knowledge of business intelligence, cloud computing, database design, data governance, data integration, data migrations, data modeling, data warehousing, solution architecture, and SQL.
• Competence in consulting, data architecture, database structures, data warehousing, IT architecture, logical data modeling, organizational leadership, problem solving, and requirements analysis.
• Ability to design, develop, and optimize complex specialized data warehouses supporting business users and BI applications.
• Ability to analyze business intelligence data, develop warehouse growth and integration recommendations, and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Ability to work with IT and business customers to define data warehouse architecture requirements and provide technical guidance.
• No required certifications, licenses, or language assessments.
