Forecast Operations Manager (AI)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; travel required 20% of the time; relocation is not available.

Salary: $128,000.00–$176,000.00 per year.

What you will do

• Build and scale forecasting capabilities across a complex global supply chain.
• Own forecast signal quality and performance tracking while improving forecast accuracy, usability, and adoption.
• Engage suppliers, establish feedback mechanisms, and identify execution gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Translate forecast signals into supplier planning and MRP processes.
• Analyze supplier execution performance and forecast consumption trends.
• Develop dashboards, metrics, executive reporting, and recommendations to support supply planning and long-range capacity planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, operations, forecasting, procurement, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with ERP, planning, forecasting, or supply chain technology platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or complex industrial supply chains.
• Experience working directly with suppliers and external partners.
• Knowledge of demand planning, supply planning, forecasting methodologies, and MRP systems.
• Experience with advanced analytics, AI/ML-enabled planning tools, or digital supply chain solutions.
• Ability to translate data into business insights and operational actions.
