Senior Engineering Manager (GTM)

Location: San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; Portland, OR; or remote within Canada or the United States.

Salary: US employees: $239,000–$298,800 USD base salary; Canadian employees: $225,900–$282,400 CAD base salary. Total rewards also include equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Establish the technical strategy for the GTM engineering function and decide how capabilities connect with marketing, sales, and data systems.
• Lead and grow an initial team of 2–3 engineers while remaining hands-on with unfamiliar systems and early solutions.
• Build orchestration for coordinated GTM workflows across product launches, audiences, signals, and channels.
• Improve inbound and outbound sales systems for identifying, enriching, qualifying, and routing prospects.
• Build dependable workflows and measurement to identify failures, test approaches, and understand acquisition and expansion results.
• Use AI to improve GTM workflows and software development, guiding capabilities from prototype to dependable use with evaluation, testing, human review, and outcome measurement.

Requirements

• Strong experience in GTM engineering, including marketing technology, or growth engineering.
• Professional engineering management experience supported by recent hands-on engineering work.
• Practical experience using AI to build software or improve workflows, with the judgment to evaluate results and make them dependable.
• Experience with TypeScript and Node.js services, Customer.io, Salesforce, Snowflake, and integrations with core applications and Haskell backends.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping AI-powered GTM workflows.
• GTM domain experience and practical AI experience acquired across different roles or projects.
