Alternative Data Management Analyst (Finance)

Location: Stamford, Connecticut, United States; office work Monday–Thursday with remote work available on Friday.

Salary: $60,000–$65,000 base salary per year, plus equity and an annual performance bonus.

hirify.global is hiring for its Data Solutions team supporting alternative investment data management.

What you will do

• Manage acquisition, sourcing, maintenance, and retrieval methods for source documents related to alternative investment products.
• Enrich unstructured data within existing data infrastructure and maintain data feeds.
• Validate investment data to ensure completeness, timeliness, accuracy, and effective controls.
• Follow data governance best practices and identify opportunities to automate and improve processes.
• Collaborate across teams to provide insights from alternative investment data across reporting platforms and systems.
• Maintain and share standard operating procedures and support ad hoc data and technology projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in data management, analysis, or financial operations.
• Proficiency with data management tools, Excel, and other software.
• General understanding of the alternative investment landscape.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Commitment to learning new technologies and adapting to new data and systems as the industry evolves.
• Ability to identify and understand risks associated with data management processes.
• Ability to support the team and build relationships across teams.
