Analyst, Data Analytics (Health Technology)

Location: Hybrid role based out of the Washington, DC office; candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage data ingestion pipelines and validate data integrity for external sources from diverse client systems and processes.
• Investigate and troubleshoot data integrity concerns and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
• Improve data ingestion and validation procedures through analytical methods and relevant software tools.
• Perform ad-hoc data investigations and provide data support across business units, products, and services.
• Build subject matter expertise in assigned data and understand its organizational impact.
• Document observations and protocols related to data ingestion while prioritizing assignments and deadlines within a team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and undergraduate-level understanding of business, accounting, statistics, and data analysis.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to independently execute complex data analytics in SQL.
• At least 2 years of SQL experience focused on data engineering or data analytics.
• Interest in growing these skills and training others.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to high-quality analysis and attention to detail.
• Desire to work within a team environment.
• Legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python, particularly for automation tasks.
• Experience building monitoring and alerting for data pipeline health.
• Working knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud storage and compute platforms.
• Comfort with version control such as Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Exposure to healthcare data standards or EDI transaction formats, including 844/867.
