Senior Associate, Business Data Office, Business Execution - Business Intelligence & Reporting Developer

Location: Hybrid, Toronto, ON, Canada

Compensation: CAD 62,250–CAD 91,300 yearly

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards, reports, scorecards, and data visualizations using Power BI and other approved business intelligence tools.
• Gather reporting requirements, define KPIs and metrics, and translate business needs into scalable reporting and analytical solutions.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, data models, and semantic layers while supporting enterprise reporting standards and a single source of truth.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, quality assurance, trend analysis, and performance analysis to support operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
• Support planning, testing, documentation, release management, implementation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of reporting solutions.
• Create and maintain report specifications, data dictionaries, KPI definitions, data lineage, technical documentation, and user guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• 3–5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting Development, Data Analytics, or related roles.
• Demonstrated experience developing enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or comparable BI platforms.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and multiple source systems.
• Experience supporting KPI reporting, operational performance management, workforce analytics, or management reporting environments.
• Experience participating in project delivery, system enhancements, user acceptance testing, and change management activities.

Nice to have

• Relevant Microsoft, Power BI, or data analytics certifications.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and reporting standardization initiatives.
• Experience working in financial services, asset servicing, or other highly regulated industries.
