VAT Manager (VAT Compliance)

Location: Hybrid in Bradford or Leeds, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom

Salary: £45,000–£52,000 per annum, dependent on experience

What you will do

• Prepare and review VAT returns and other tax authority submissions for clients.
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide VAT guidance and interpret VAT analysis for the business.
• Review and approve invoices from a VAT perspective.
• Provide training on VAT legislation to other areas of the business.
• Liaise with external advisors and support system improvements with VAT Compliance Senior Managers.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent qualification.
• Essential experience preparing and filing VAT returns, together with VAT accounting experience.
• Strong communication skills for providing clear and meaningful interpretations of analysis.
• Ability to work across internal and external teams.
