Financial Accountant

What you will do

• Perform monthly financial accounting for European, Middle Eastern, and African entities within the European Finance Centre.
• Prepare timely and accurate period-end financial reports and conduct detailed monthly variance analysis.
• Prepare and approve balance sheet reconciliations and process journal entries.
• Coordinate with FP&A, country finance, operations, and HR teams to ensure accurate transaction reporting.
• Support year-end statutory and tax compliance, internal and external audits, and SOX compliance.
• Support ad hoc projects and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• CIMA, ACCA, or ACA part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to assist other members of the general ledger team.
• Ambition and a proactive attitude.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP.
• European language skills.
