Operational Analyst (Financial Services)

Location: United Kingdom; hybrid working with a minimum of three days in the office after successful completion of probation.

Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum.

What you will do

• Act as the technical expert for core business applications, adviser technology and CRM systems.
• Support user training, system functionality guidance and end-to-end business process adoption.
• Improve operational efficiency through technology, process optimisation, workflow development and CRM configuration.
• Manage data quality issues, develop data cleansing solutions, and produce management information reports for business decisions.
• Create automated client output solutions using Smartflows/Xperido and support testing, troubleshooting and implementation of system changes.
• Lead small-scale improvement projects from analysis through implementation and build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in financial services or professional services, ideally involving process improvement and user training.
• Hands-on experience with adviser software such as CURO or Intelligent Office.
• Experience with investment platforms, financial advice technology and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Understanding of how CRM systems and digital technology improve operational efficiency.
• Experience creating automated client output templates and producing management information reports for senior management.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
• Proactive, resilient and collaborative approach to work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI and Smartflows/Xperido.
• Experience leading small change projects and developing project plans.
• Experience configuring CRM systems and developing workflow solutions.
• Knowledge of financial adviser processes and industry data.
• Experience supporting system testing, implementation and user adoption.
