TL;DR

MX-Financial Analyst (FP&A/Financial Reporting): Supporting financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, and business analysis for U.S. functional departments with an accent on financial modeling, dashboards, and performance insights. Focus on consolidating forecasts, developing reporting tools, partnering with business leaders, and supporting finance transformation initiatives.

Location: Hybrid, based in the Mexico City office

What you will do

Perform monthly variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior-year results, communicating key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Support annual operating plans, monthly forecasting, budgeting, consolidation, validation, and reporting.
Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial and operational reports, analyses, performance metrics, management reporting packages, and executive presentations.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualizations using SAP, BPC/EPM, Power BI, Tableau, and related systems.
Partner with finance and business teams to identify trends, improve processes, and support business performance.
Contribute to finance transformation, systems implementation, and process improvement initiatives through analysis, documentation, testing, and project support.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, accounting, or a related area.
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced English proficiency, written and verbal.

Nice to have

Experience with SAP, BPC/EPM, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and planning tools.
