Senior Manager Production (Manufacturing)

Location: Mapleton, Illinois, United States; onsite role overseeing operations across all shifts.

Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day operations across all shifts in a high-volume engine block and cylinder liner machining environment.
• Lead staffing, employee development, performance management, and management-team development.
• Oversee safety, schedules, production performance, and effective use of system resources.
• Drive improvements in operational performance and implement production safety, cost, and quality-control mechanisms.
• Provide strategic leadership for machining, production quality, maintenance, and material flow.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintain a safe manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience desired.
• Extensive knowledge of production training approaches, tools, and techniques for safe and efficient operation of production machinery, including formal and situation-specific training.
• Extensive knowledge of influencing tactics and strategies, with the ability to impact decisions within and outside the organization.
• Working knowledge of approaches for managing change and adapting to changing environments.
• Extensive knowledge of performance-management techniques and the ability to develop individuals, teams, and organizational performance.
• Extensive knowledge of analytical techniques, including determining root causes and creating alternative solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of planning and organizing tasks and resources in a systematic and methodical way.
