Quality Specialist Engineer (QMIP)

Location: Guanajuato, Mexico; full-time, onsite role with travel as required.

What you will do

• Lead Advanced Project Quality Planning (APQP) throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Establish project quality strategies, Project Quality Plans, quality objectives, risk management practices, and Quality Gate governance.
• Drive preventive quality management through structured methodologies, lessons learned, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate quality assurance activities across customers, suppliers, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and project management.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, product safety expectations, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and 5+ years of experience in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Project environments.
• Strong expertise in Project Quality Management, APQP, risk management methodologies, FMEA, and problem-solving tools.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001, supplier quality processes, manufacturing technologies, and PLM/customer project environments.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Professional English proficiency and willingness to work in international environments.
• Willingness to travel as required.
