Senior/ Principal Architect for Automotive (Location Technology)

Location: Hybrid model in Berlin, Munich, or Schwalbach / Frankfurt, Germany.

What you will do

• Design robust solution architectures for strategic customer use cases using the HERE location platform.
• Analyze customer requirements from channels such as RfQs and develop a detailed understanding of customer needs.
• Engage with engineering, product, sales, customers, and other internal and external stakeholders to define and communicate solutions.
• Guide and mentor engineering teams to ensure implementations align accurately with the architecture.
• Address performance, scalability, security, privacy, and fault tolerance in architectural designs.
• Support the project lifecycle from project nomination through solution delivery and closure.

Requirements

• Experience designing solution architectures for customer use cases.
• Ability to understand complex customer problems, derive meaningful insights, and articulate solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to guide and mentor engineering teams during implementation.
• Ability to address performance, scalability, security, privacy, and fault tolerance in architecture design.
• Ability to analyze customer requirements and support solution delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
• Leadership skills and the ability to define architecture processes supporting business needs.
