What you will do

• Manage and maintain the OCI platform, ensuring stable configurations and adherence to Oracle standard architecture.
• Perform routine DBA activities including backups, recovery, cloning, and performance monitoring for SaaS and OCI environments.
• Support Oracle Cloud ERP application issues, custom coding, and quarterly release/patch management.
• Implement security controls, verify data integrity, and design disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate with global infrastructure and security teams across multiple time zones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Cloud Engineer managing OCI platforms.
• Proven experience executing Oracle Cloud upgrade cycles and reducing cutover downtime.
• Deep knowledge of OCI architecture, concurrent managers, workflows, and ERP application infrastructure.
• Proficiency in SQL profiling, performance tuning, and Unix shell scripting (ODA/OVM).
• Must be based in Ireland, UK, Germany, or the Netherlands
