Manager, Engineering - Entity Graph Automation (Cybersecurity)

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden; remote work available from Sweden

What you will do

• Lead, grow, and develop a team building automated curation pipelines for the Entity Graph.
• Own delivery planning, prioritization, sequencing, and execution for the team.
• Account for data quality metrics including coverage, freshness, precision, and recall.
• Lead the transition from manual to automated curation while maintaining customer-facing quality.
• Partner with Graph Quality, Data Services, Collection, and product teams to deliver graph data to customers and agentic software.
• Hire, onboard, mentor, and coach engineers, while guiding technical direction and communicating progress and risks.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing software engineers, with evidence of a team shipping under your leadership.
• Previous software engineering background in data-intensive or distributed systems.
• Experience running delivery for a team, including planning, prioritization, and scope management.
• Experience addressing ambiguous data-quality problems through measurement.
• Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain engineers, including early-career engineers.
• Experience leading a team through organizational or technical change while maintaining delivery and morale.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with engineers, research scientists, and business audiences.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent education or work experience.
• Strong English skills are required.

Nice to have

• Cyber-defence data model knowledge, including CVE/CVSS, CPE, SBOM, vendor and product taxonomies, and asset inventories.
• Experience with large-scale data infrastructure such as Kafka, Spark, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Experience taking LLM- or agent-based systems into production and evaluating them honestly.
• Experience replacing manual operational processes with automated systems and managing the human side of the change.
• Experience managing distributed teams across sites or time zones.
