Workday Project Test Lead

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, United States; hybrid, with 3 days onsite per week

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end testing for Workday implementations, enhancements, integrations, configuration changes, and periodic releases.
• Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, scenarios, cases, traceability documentation, schedules, priorities, resource plans, and entry and exit criteria.
• Coordinate functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing across business users, functional teams, technical teams, and other testing resources.
• Validate Workday business processes, workflows, security roles, reporting, data conversions, system configurations, and impacted integrations.
• Monitor test progress, coverage, risks, dependencies, execution results, defects, remediation activities, and status reporting for project leadership.
• Lead testing across applicable Workday areas including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Financial Management.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading testing efforts for Workday applications, implementations, enhancements, or ongoing support.
• Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing methodologies.
• Experience developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and traceability documentation.
• Proven ability to coordinate testing activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Experience managing test execution, defect tracking, issue triage, and testing status reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Opkey for Workday automated testing.
• Experience with other test automation tools and frameworks.
• Workday certification or relevant Workday functional training.
• Experience testing Workday integrations, reports, security configurations, and business process workflows.
