Quality Assurance Testing Manager

Location: Hybrid/onsite in Hoover, Alabama, at the Riverchase Operations Center; regular full-day office attendance three or more days per week is expected, and the position must be within a reasonable driving distance to Birmingham, Alabama. Relocation assistance is not provided. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $108,693.75–$143,750.00 USD annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive plan and participation in the Long Term Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Develop organization-wide strategic plans for application testing and manage comprehensive test plans and test case scenarios for new and existing products.
• Oversee manual and automated application testing, post-production validation, and complex testing projects as a lead subject-matter expert.
• Collaborate with analysts and application development teams to interpret test data, improve testing solutions, and address technical knowledge gaps.
• Coordinate non-functional testing activities, including performance testing, concert testing, and penetration testing.
• Ensure compliance with documentation policies and procedures and implement process improvement strategies.
• Partner across Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data to strengthen risk management, compliance, cybersecurity, controls, and disciplined change management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and eight years of quality experience, or a high school diploma/GED and twelve years of quality experience.
• Ability to effectively manage a team and communicate with business leaders at various levels.
• Ability to research and analyze data and derive data-driven solutions.
• Strong priority management, problem-solving, critical thinking, verbal communication, written communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
• Understanding of and ability to interpret applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to work regular full days in the office three or more days per week and remain within a reasonable driving distance to Birmingham, Alabama.

Nice to have

• Advanced knowledge of software implementation methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of test case design and strategy.
• Advanced knowledge of test management tools such as Azure DevOps, qTest, or Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
• Management or supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of Regions’ testing standards.
