Consulting Manager (Government Pricing)

Riparian LLC is a life-sciences consulting and technology firm within hirify.global, helping pharmaceutical manufacturers with government programs pricing, compliance, rebate adjudication, and operational and strategic initiatives.

What you will do

• Lead and manage delivery of consulting services for U.S. government pricing program engagements.
• Help clients manage government pricing requirements, assess financial impacts of methodology and data changes, and perform pricing restatements.
• Interpret large datasets and prepare analyses, presentations, assessment reports, and client recommendations.
• Support automation, new process implementation, and system implementation by documenting business and functional requirements.
• Manage client work within established budgets, workplans, quality standards, and timelines, while supporting proposals, marketing, thought leadership, and client relationships.
• Coach, develop, supervise, and provide performance guidance to a team of two or more counselees while identifying delivery efficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, or a Technology-related field and a minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
• Deep understanding of government pricing compliance requirements and regulations.
• Deep understanding of methodological considerations, calculation mechanics, and reporting protocols for Average Manufacturer Price, Best Price, Average Sales Price, Non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price, Unit Rebate Amount, and 340B Pricing.
• Advanced analytical skills and the ability to synthesize findings.
• Experience working with large datasets or proficiency with SQL, Python, MS Access, and MS Excel.
• Ability to work autonomously, exercise professional judgment, and provide proactive solutions and recommendations.
• Ability to prioritize concurrent project responsibilities and manage multiple client assignments from planning through completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for various audiences in a professional business environment.
• Understanding of life-sciences contracting between manufacturers and wholesalers, managed care organizations, and group purchasing organizations.
