Accounting Analyst (Financial Services)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; onsite position with regular full days in the office three or more days a week. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full time in the United States.

Salary: $49,097.32–$67,483.50 USD annual job range target; not incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, ad-hoc, and special-request reports.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for review by management at all levels.
• Research and respond to technical accounting inquiries from business partners.
• Analyze and resolve accounting and reporting problems using prescribed guidelines and policies.
• Contribute to process improvements and make recommendations.
• Support accounting and reporting for various capital markets businesses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a directly related field.
• Ability to research and analyze data and drive appropriate solutions.
• Ability to work under direct guidance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
• Current authorization to work full time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Master of Business Administration and/or master’s degree in finance.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Certified Public Accountant licensure.
