Accounting Manager, Corporate Benefits and Reporting

Salary: $85,600–$141,200 annual base salary

What you will do

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, payment requests, and schedules supporting SEC and Department of Labor filings.
• Compile, review, and analyze complex financial data, variance analyses, performance metrics, budgets, and forecasts.
• Review internal and external financial reporting for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with corporate standards.
• Review reporting under ERISA, GAAP, SEC, and statutory accounting requirements.
• Perform financial controls in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and support internal and external audits.
• Participate in financial reporting projects involving regulatory changes, reorganizations, mergers, and acquisitions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or comparable professional education such as CPA or CMA credentials.
• At least three years of experience in finance, accounting, financial planning, or a related field.
• Strong data analysis, communication, consulting, presentation, judgment, and project management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and financial reporting software such as TM1, Essbase, or Hyperion.
• Ability to apply accounting and financial concepts to financial systems and processes.

• Experience accounting for equity-based compensation.
• Experience with accounting and reporting for benefit plans.
