Regulatory Reporting Accounting Manager (Banking)

Salary: $70,000–$140,000 annual base compensation, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Prepare, research, review, and submit regulatory financial filings, including Call Reports, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14Q, FR Y-14A, FFIEC 009, FR Y-15, TIC Reports, FR Y-6, FR Y-10, and FR Y-8.
• Create accurate documentation for reported figures and conclusions based on regulatory guidance.
• Analyze reporting results and explain trends and fluctuations to management.
• Gather reportable data across the organization, define business requirements for IT and Finance Data Resource Group partners, and perform user acceptance testing.
• Perform reconciliations, maintain procedural documentation, and execute review controls.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting issues with Risk Management, Internal Audit, Legal, and regulators while supporting process improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in auditing, regulatory reporting, or SEC reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, organization, and time-management skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex formulas and functions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, learn new systems, meet deadlines, and maintain reporting accuracy and compliance.
• Workplace type: office in Pittsburgh, PA; specific flexible arrangements may be determined by the hiring team.

Nice to have

• Public accounting or external financial reporting experience.
• Financial services, banking regulations, or core banking process experience.
• Experience with Axiom, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Wdesk, Wdata, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, or Essbase.
