Regulatory Reporting Accounting Manager (Banking)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA; office workplace type.

Salary: $70,000–$140,000 annual base compensation, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Prepare, research, review, and submit regulatory financial filings in accordance with Federal Reserve, FFIEC, and OCC standards and guidance.
• Prepare and analyze banking regulatory reports, including Call Report, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14Q, FR Y-14A, FFIEC 009, FR Y-15, TIC Reports, FR Y-6, FR Y-10, and FR Y-8.
• Create accurate, organized documentation for reported numbers and supporting conclusions.
• Analyze results and provide management with insight into trends and fluctuations.
• Collaborate across the organization to gather reportable data, define business requirements for IT and Finance Data Resource Group partners, and complete user acceptance testing.
• Interact with regulators, perform reconciliations, maintain procedural documentation and review controls, and coordinate reporting issues with Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Legal.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
• At least 6 years of experience in auditing, regulatory reporting, or SEC reporting.

• Ability to multitask, self-prioritize, meet deadlines, and quickly learn and execute new systems and processes.
• Advanced Excel functions and complex formulas.
• Experience with banking regulations and/or core banking processes.
• Knowledge of Axiom, Microsoft Office with Outlook, Wdesk, Wdata, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and Essbase.
