Mechanical Engineering Intern (Fire Protection)

Location: US | MO | St. Louis - 6 South Old Orchard; onsite at the St. Louis office for the Summer of 2027.

Salary: $23–$28 per hour base compensation.

What you will do

• Set up AutoCAD and Revit drawing files, including digitizing and cleaning working drawings.
• Apply the design checklist and support compliance with design standards.
• Perform hands-on engineering tasks, including calculations and simulations.
• Create and update technical drawings and 3D models.
• Prepare presentations and maintain project files.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Understanding of mechanical building systems and a passion for sustainable design.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and professional interaction with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Commitment to integrity, ethical behavior, innovation, and continuous learning.
