Mechanical Engineer Summer Intern

Location: Onsite in Holden, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $20.00–$22.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assist with the design and development of mechanical systems and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, construction documents, and project documentation.
• Use AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering software to support designs and project deliverables.
• Participate in field investigations, site visits, inspections, and data collection.
• Review plans, specifications, and engineering drawings; conduct research and analysis for project planning and execution.
• Collaborate with electrical, structural, civil, and environmental professionals and support scheduling and other engineering activities.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong academic record and interest in mechanical systems design.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a variety of projects.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software.
• Valid driver's license.
