Data Center Construction - Junior Project Manager Cost Focus

Location: Columbus, OH; approximately 4 days per week onsite, subject to client needs.

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Base salary excludes potential bonuses, 401(k) match, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Independently manage the full scope of construction projects while managing components of other projects.
• Lead and mentor project teams while managing schedule, scope, and budget.
• Manage project risks, contingency planning, and schedule and budget recovery planning.
• Represent client objectives as a trusted partner on data center, hospital, and other critical-environment projects.
• Manage invoicing and collections and identify add-services opportunities.
• Collaborate with clients, architects and engineers, contractors, general contractors, vendors, and other teams; gather requirements and resolve complex challenges and conflicts.

Requirements

• 3+ years of construction project management experience with a thorough understanding of the building design and construction process.
• 2+ years of construction cost management experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing critical-environment construction projects, such as data centers, laboratories, or hospitals.
• Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.
• Experience with MEP in ground-up construction.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ambition and a focus on construction and project management, with interest in growing within a modern and energetic business.
• Local support in Columbus, OH and the ability to work onsite approximately four days per week, subject to client needs.
