Collections Team Lead / Resolver

Location: Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico; full-time onsite role.

What you will do

• Coordinate collections team metrics, performance, escalations, and operational issues.
• Mentor and coach collectors, provide feedback, monitor technical competence, and support training and reviews.
• Review accounts, identify non-payment trends and at-risk customers, and recommend strategies to prevent delinquencies and accelerate cash flow.
• Lead escalation reviews and collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve complex disputes and recurring issues.
• Act as the manager’s operational backup and frontline subject matter expert for team-related matters.
• Identify process improvements and promote effective use of collections tools, systems, and communication methods.

Requirements

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to onboard and develop people.
• Ability to improve performance through execution and innovation, anticipate changes, and define strategic improvements.
• Knowledge of collections processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and a demonstrated high-performance track record.
• Four-year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically 3–5 years of experience, preferably in collections, credit, banking, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation tools and process improvement.
