Credit Analyst Internship (Finance)

Location: Hybrid in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico; work from an HPE office an average of 2 days per week.

What you will do

• Analyze customer financial statements and perform due diligence to mitigate credit risk.
• Set up and maintain customer accounts and credit limits in SAP S4, storing supporting documentation.
• Review order-block filters, take action on order releases, obtain approvals when required, and communicate blocking reasons and next steps.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Collections, and other internal stakeholders on credit decisions, collection topics, and payment-term exceptions.
• Provide input to Credit & Collections projects, forums, and bad-debt or uncollectible-customer reviews.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of credit and collection processes, financial concepts, and risk-mitigation tools.
• Attention to detail and strong prioritization skills.
• Basic understanding of HPE business units and the products and services provided.
• Basic knowledge of the economic and political environment.
• Fluent English; additional common languages may be needed depending on the portfolio.
• Previous experience is not required.
