Snowflake Architect (Snowflake)

What you will do

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance Snowflake data architectures and data models.
• Develop ETL and ELT pipelines and data integration strategies using modern data platform tools.
• Optimize query performance, resource utilization, and Snowflake costs through advanced tuning.
• Implement Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Dynamic Tables for real-time and batch data processing.
• Ensure data security, governance, access control, and compliance across Snowflake and cloud environments.
• Provide technical leadership to data engineering teams and translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or cloud data platforms, including at least 4 years of hands-on Snowflake architecture and implementation.
• Advanced expertise in Snowflake architecture and administration, including Time Travel, Fail Safe, and SnowSQL.
• Strong SQL skills with advanced query optimization experience, plus PLSQL or T-SQL for stored procedures and database scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Dynamic Tables.
• Experience with cloud data warehouse modeling, ETL and ELT development, and modern data platforms.
• Python programming for data engineering and experience with DataStream for real-time data processing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating Snowflake with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in data governance and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and cost optimization in cloud data warehouses.
• Knowledge of emerging Snowflake features and best practices.
• Experience leading technical teams in enterprise data architecture.
• Snowflake certification such as SnowPro Core or Advanced Architect.
