Credit Support Analyst (Commercial Credit)

Location: Onsite in the Nashville, Tennessee main office five days per week.

Salary: $61,284.00–$98,064.00 per year.

What you will do

• Enter, update, maintain, review, and validate customer, financial, and credit information in lending and credit systems.
• Gather and prepare information for commercial loan application reviews.
• Review credit histories and organize financial information used to evaluate profitability, liquidity, creditworthiness, and overall risk.
• Prepare and input financial statement data, including information supporting credit analysis and risk assessment.
• Work with customers, credit associations, and relevant organizations to verify information for financial and credit transactions.
• Support credit analysis, verification, and loan origination activities while following established policies and procedures and collaborating with analysts.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling high volumes of detailed information.
• Ability to accurately enter, review, maintain, and validate information in business systems.
• Basic understanding of financial and accounting concepts, with interest in developing commercial credit knowledge.
• Ability to review information, identify discrepancies, and use data to solve problems.
• Understanding of, or interest in learning about, income statements, balance sheets, financial ratios, and other measures of business financial health.
• Understanding of, or interest in developing, credit analysis and verification skills.
• Professional customer communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Ability to manage detailed, process-driven work while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.

• Comfort learning multiple systems and following established processes.
• Ability to balance routine processing work with analytical responsibilities and identify small discrepancies.
