Senior/Lead Project Manager (Software Delivery)

What you will do

• Plan, manage, and control scope, budget, and timelines for medium to large software delivery projects.
• Own day-to-day client delivery relationships and negotiate scope, priorities, and change requests with stakeholders.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and technical issues in collaboration with technical leads.
• Allocate work, manage workload, and keep distributed cross-functional teams aligned, motivated, and productive.
• Run Agile ceremonies, improve delivery processes, and provide reporting on status, risks, and budget.
• Provide performance feedback and development input; at Lead level, mentor other project managers and contribute to account delivery standards.

Requirements

• 6+ years of project management experience in a software development environment, including at least 3 years in client-facing roles at a service company or agency.
• Strong technical understanding of architecture, integrations, APIs, environments, release processes, technical estimates, and risks.
• Strong command of Agile/Scrum and hybrid delivery setups.
• Proven ownership of scope, timeline, and budget on medium to large projects.
• Experience managing several projects or workstreams simultaneously.
• Experience leading distributed teams across countries and time zones.
• Excellent stakeholder management, including with senior client contacts, plus strong negotiation skills.
• Calm and constructive approach to escalations and difficult conversations, with clear structured verbal and written communication.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Office.
• English at B2+ with confident spoken English for client calls.

Nice to have

• Prior Delivery Manager experience, with readiness to work hands-on at project level.
• Technical background as an ex-engineer, business analyst, or QA specialist.
• Relevant domain experience.
• Previous experience managing Data Engineering or Data Science projects.
• Hands-on use of AI tooling in delivery.
• Professional PM certification such as PMP, PSM, or PRINCE2.
