TL;DR
Excellence & Transformation Partner (Business Process Management/Automation): Supporting the GBS operating model through transition management, performance improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives with an accent on process reengineering, Lean methods, automation, and stakeholder management. Focus on validating knowledge-transfer plans, monitoring stabilization, defining performance indicators, and enabling digital improvement across Finance, Procurement, or HR processes.
Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid working model combining onsite and offsite work.

Defence and Space is expanding its Global Business Services organization through operational excellence, transformation, and continuous improvement.
What you will do
- Support the end-to-end GBS operating model across transition management, operational performance, and continuous improvement.
- Improve transition methodology, validate knowledge-transfer plans, review risk registers, and support contingency planning.
- Monitor knowledge transfer, reverse shadowing, stabilization, ramp-up, hiring, onboarding, and recurring stakeholder reporting.
- Contribute to KPI definition, performance monitoring, process efficiency, quality, compliance, and deliverables.
- Lead and support strategic GBS projects while engaging subject-matter experts and enabling digital awareness.
Requirements
- Strong project management, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, including engagement with senior management.
- Strong knowledge of business process management, process reengineering, and Lean methods such as Six Sigma, Agile, or Scrum.
- Proven experience with process improvement and automation solutions, including RPA, process analytics, Low/No Code tools, or AI.
- Functional knowledge of Finance, Procurement, or HR.
- Fluent English is mandatory.

- Experience in a consulting firm or Global Business Services environment.
