Senior Data Scientist (AI/ML)

Location: Remote from Serbia; able to accommodate UAE working hours

What you will do

• Design, train, and validate predictive and optimization models using classical machine learning, statistical modeling, and deep learning.
• Own the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle on AWS, including SageMaker, Lambda, ECS, MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated retraining.
• Build evaluation pipelines, A/B testing frameworks, and hypothesis-testing processes to measure model efficacy in production.
• Establish monitoring for data drift, concept drift, and post-deployment system health.
• Collaborate with software and platform engineering teams to improve inference latency, throughput, and scalability.
• Partner with Product, Commercial, and Strategy stakeholders to translate ambiguous commercial problems into data initiatives and communicate quantitative findings to technical and executive audiences.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science or Advanced Analytics delivering measurable, production-grade business impact.
• Advanced Python proficiency, including Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn, plus complex SQL querying.
• Practical experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and deep learning frameworks.
• Experience deploying, scaling, and maintaining machine learning workloads on AWS, including SageMaker, ECS, and Lambda.
• Strong theoretical and applied knowledge of statistical inference, experimental design, and supervised and unsupervised machine learning.
• Experience with Generative AI workflows, LLM orchestration, and advanced prompt engineering.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or an equivalent quantitative discipline.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with model interpretability and explainability frameworks such as SHAP and LIME in regulated or customer-facing environments.
• Previous experience in Computer Vision or Natural Language Processing.
