IT Analyst (ServiceNow)

What you will do

• Confirm receipt of products and IT assets, identify assets for tracking, and close purchase orders.
• Scan and update assets in the IT Asset Management system, recording tags, descriptions, models, serial numbers, manufacturers, and purchase orders.
• Manage onsite and offsite IT asset warehousing, temporary storage for assets expected to be used within 90–120 days, longer-term storage, security, transportation, and distribution requirements.
• Perform monthly and quarterly inventories, maintain storage and database integrity, report inventory results, and support distribution plans.
• Coordinate dock-to-dock and priority delivery services, select cost-effective shipping options, and liaise with shipping and buyback vendors.
• Scan equipment to receiving entities, support disposal and onsite shredding of data-storage components, maintain disposal records, and manage recycling, trash, and logistics equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to confirm receipt of products and IT assets, identify assets for tracking, close purchase orders, and maintain asset traceability.
• Knowledge of IT asset scanning, updating, receiving, inventory databases, and equipment identification.
• Experience with inventory warehousing, storage planning, distribution, security requirements, transportation, and inventory counts.
• Understanding of equipment disposal, removal of data-storing components or batteries, Security Instruction 2681 Media Disposal, and NIST compliance.
• Ability to maintain records of disposal and shredding services and ensure onsite shredding vendors are approved by Security.
• Advanced ServiceNow knowledge, including inventory tracking, time logging, asset updates and confirmations, ticket closure, and dashboard creation.
• Complete understanding of M365, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint; expert Excel skills.
• HAM Pro experience and warehouse experience.
• Ability to adapt to changing processes and implement, share, and follow new directives.
• Ability to work onsite in Pensacola, Florida.
