What you will do

• Support Council of Governors engagements by identifying priority topics, preparing briefing materials, coordinating procedures, and developing deliverables.
• Coordinate federal and state government organizations and mission partners on homeland defense and domestic incident preparedness initiatives.
• Develop coordination frameworks and planning processes for federal-state collaboration during domestic incident response activities.
• Support FEMA coordination and restructuring initiatives through interagency processes and planning frameworks.
• Research homeland defense, emergency preparedness, and consequence management issues for senior leadership decision-making.
• Develop executive-level briefings, reports, assessments, planning documents, and other decision-support materials while supporting evolving mission requirements.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any field.
• At least seven years of experience supporting preparedness, emergency management, homeland security, homeland defense, consequence management, operational planning, public health preparedness, CBRN preparedness, resilience, continuity, or related national security mission areas.
• At least five years of demonstrated experience coordinating with multiple government organizations and mission partners.
• At least five years of demonstrated experience developing executive-level planning products, assessments, reports, or briefing materials.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex mission requirements into clear, actionable products.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with senior government stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
