Director, ESC Strategic Projects

Location: On-site at least four days per week at the hirify.global Center in Maplewood, Minnesota, United States; up to 25% domestic and international travel. Relocation may be authorized.

Salary: $250,253–$305,864, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Lead the build and scale-up of strategic capabilities to establish a sustainable operating foundation.
• Implement capabilities, governance, and execution disciplines that strengthen organizational performance and support long-term growth.
• Determine roadmap priorities, milestones, and improvement actions aligned with industry benchmarks.
• Support leadership development, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Drive execution progress, capability build-out, and leadership engagement across strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified before starting.
• At least eight years of leadership experience in transformation, global capability centers, PMO, operations, or related strategic execution environments.
• At least five years of project leadership experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business, operations, engineering, organizational leadership, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Ability to lead change with discipline, accountability, and a strong focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across cross-functional global teams.
• Experience guiding local leadership teams through growth, change, and organizational scale-up.
• Results-oriented, self-motivated approach with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and drive execution against business needs.
