Principal, Program Manager - Business Operations (Semiconductor)

Location: Aurora, IL or Hillsboro, OR, United States; onsite role

Salary: $148,000–$197,000 per year; annual bonus eligible

What you will do

• Lead complex cross-functional strategic initiatives from planning through implementation across technical, operational, commercial, and customer functions.
• Develop integrated execution plans, governance structures, performance visibility, and accountability mechanisms.
• Coordinate product development, customer qualification, manufacturing readiness, supply chain, and commercial execution for broad-market launches and strategic transitions.
• Evaluate where alternative materials or technologies should enter product qualification processes and lead execution.
• Identify and resolve risks, dependencies, resource conflicts, and organizational barriers while applying lessons learned to future initiatives.
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and support leadership decision-making through operating mechanisms and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in a manufacturing, technology, engineering, operations, or product development environment.
• Demonstrated success leading strategic initiatives across multiple global functions.
• Experience driving commercialization, manufacturing readiness, product launches, operational scale-up, or technology implementation programs.
• Strong executive presence and effective communication at all organizational levels.
• Ability to influence decision-making without direct organizational authority.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in highly dynamic environments.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA, MS, PhD, or equivalent.
• PMP, PgMP, or similar program management certification.
• Experience supporting major product launches and customer qualification programs.
• Experience in CMP, semiconductor, advanced materials, specialty chemicals, or related industries.
