Market Data Vendor Manager (Fintech)

Location: Flexible hybrid schedule at 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, then at 3 Robert Speck Parkway in Mississauga. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Total annual cash compensation, including base salary and target bonus: $99,000–$117,000 CAD, based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Manage relationships with Bloomberg, LSEG, MSCI, FactSet, S&P, and Moody’s, including contract negotiations, service reviews, and vendor performance management.
• Oversee market data administration, including onboarding and offboarding, entitlement management, invoice validation, inventory maintenance, and usage monitoring.
• Advise business and technology stakeholders on market data solutions, assess requirements, and support strategic initiatives.
• Support budgeting and forecasting through usage and spend analysis; produce reports and dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with vendor licensing agreements, internal policies, and audit requirements.
• Resolve market data service incidents with vendors and global teams while improving governance, processes, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• University degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of market data experience within the financial services industry.
• Good understanding of market data products, including terminals, real-time and reference data, indices, ratings, research platforms, licensing models, and governance practices.
• Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and service performance.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and cost optimization capabilities.
• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Exposure to audit, risk, or regulatory environments.
• Current authorization to work in Canada.

Nice to have

• FISD, IMC, or another relevant market data or financial services certification.
