Student Position: Software Toolchain & Debugger Development (f/m/d)

Location: Gratkorn, Austria; approximately 20 hours per week for more than 6 months.

Minimum salary: EUR 2,800 gross per month for a full-time equivalent position.

What you will do

• Develop, test, and debug software tool components using Java, Python, C, C++, Rust, and C#.
• Support the automation of build and test systems with Jenkins.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Analyze and reproduce reported debugger issues and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers on professional software development.

Requirements

• Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Information and Computer Engineering, Software Development, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Good programming skills in Java and C++.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Independent, structured, accurate, reliable, and security-conscious approach to work.
• Initiative, motivation to learn and adapt, and good communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid work authorization in Austria.
• Availability of approximately 20 hours per week for a duration of more than 6 months.

Nice to have

• Experience with Eclipse, Python, C, C#, LLVM or compilers, Git, SVN, and/or Jenkins.
