Senior .NET Backend Developer (f/m/d) (iGaming)

Location: Vienna, Austria; hybrid model with presence at the Vienna HQ

Salary: Minimum gross annual salary of €58,000 on a full-time basis; higher compensation is possible depending on qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Translate technical discussions and stakeholder feedback into actionable requirements and practical backend solutions.
• Design and build distributed backend systems and real-time gaming features supporting hundreds of thousands of operations per second and up to 50,000 simultaneous players.
• Develop reliable databases and ETL pipelines across SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Implement feature configuration in the Vue.js Admin Panel and develop Vue.js test-client functionality.
• Create automated and performance tests, CI/CD pipelines, rollback strategies, and integrations with web and mobile frontend teams.
• Improve Kubernetes infrastructure, monitoring, security controls, incident analysis, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Professional experience with .NET technologies, preferably .NET 5+.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience or familiarity with REST, GraphQL, WebSockets, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
• Understanding of distributed and event-driven systems using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
• Strong product thinking, collaborative communication, and an agile, pragmatic approach.
• Confident written and spoken English is required.
