Outreach Specialist III (Banking)

Location: Hybrid position in Getzville, New York, United States of America

Salary: $20.55–$34.25 hourly (USD)

What you will do

• Contact consumer borrowers with delinquent loans through inbound and outbound manual and AutoDial calls.
• Assess repayment ability and arrange payment alternatives, repayment plans, loan workouts, or other assistance options.
• Refer customers to appropriate departments through warm transfers and handle loan-related inquiries.
• Review high-risk loans, financial statements, and loan-opening documents to assess recovery likelihood and recommend actions.
• Maintain accurate account records, resolve account issues through internal collections and accounting systems, and escalate complex cases.
• Follow applicable state and federal laws, regulatory requirements, operational risk controls, and internal control standards.

Requirements

• Combined 2 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheet software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented approach, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Motivation, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree.
• Collections experience.
• Knowledge of M&T systems.
